At present, Jenny works three interconnected in-house studios:

Drawing Board : graphic and dimensional art, children's non-fiction books
Textiles : weaving, sewing, fiber arts
Garage : sculpture, painting

As a former K-8 classroom teacher, Jenny now creates art, teaching tools and strategies which integrate science, art and literacy. She collaborates with classroom teachers to integrate arts into the curriculum. Jenny consults about interior design to maximize form & function in learning environments. Through group art projects for all ages, Jenny facilitates the creation of caring quilts and prayercloths. After moving away from Boise in 1995, she continues to work an occasional square for the Boise Peace Quilt Project. Commissioned art works include (and are not limited to) custom garments & vestments.

Jenny is currently involved in community organizing, working on several tandem arts threads. Co-Founder of 509Art, the network of artists, arts educators & arts advocates in eastern WA state, Jenny is heading up what can best be described as a creative economy initiative. Conducting early-stage community meetings with arts, civic, and business leaders, we are forming a steering committee to begin the work of building cultural partnerships through participation in events and programs.
